Earlier today, two buildings at a seaport in Beirut, Lebanon exploded, resulting in a massive mushroom cloud and a shockwave that damaged the surrounding area.

State-run media has theorized that one of the explosions may have come from a stockpile of fireworks in that building, which fits some videos showing what appears to be fireworks going off before the entire building collapses.

However, the official cause of the explosions is not known at this time.

The surrounding area is littered in debris and small fires, and nearby buildings have had windows blown out and sustained some structural damage.
